We The People

Douglas Freeman High School is the 2024 Virginia We the People state champion.  In April, these students will travel to Washington DC to compete in the National Finals, a contest of knowledge about American government, history, and Constitutional law.

Over three days of simulated Congressional hearings, the students will present research and answer questions that range from ancient philosophy to the powers of the president, from the Bill of Rights to contemporary immigration policy, from James Madison to Antonin Scalia. Please help make this possible by making a tax-deductible donation using the "Donate Now" button. It will take you to a secure Henrico County server where you can donate in any denomination you choose.

For tax purposes, please remember to print or save your receipt.
